Designs Inspired By Mother Nature ...

Young talented fashion designer Paula Cheng gets inspired by Mother Nature to create her Fall/Winter 2011 collection. Each of her pieces are delicately hand-made creating a unique Piece of Art. Nature is rich on textures, so Cheng decided to use gold and earthy tones strings and meticulously braided them to recreate a collection of tree root dresses. Stunning. Enjoy it! Paula is based in New York, United States. She studied at Parsons School of Design. MFA. You can visit her website here.

In These Jeans

Who doesn't love to wear jeans? It's the most popular fashion item in the world, and you can mix it up for a more elegant look. A classic that goes great with almost every ocassion. The American blue jean was invented by Jacob Davis and Levi Strauss in 1873. Jeans, originally designed for work, became popular among teenagers starting in the 1950s. Historic brands include Levi's, Lee and Wrangler. Jeans come in various types, for example, skinny jeans, boot cut, or flare. They come in many styles and colors; however, "blue jeans" are particularly identified with American culture, especially the American Old West. The jeans have been a very popular casual form of dressing around the world for decades.
